Master The Card: Say Goodbye to Credit Card Debt…Forever! is his first book. But most importantly he is a dad, a family man, and has some wisdom to share with us about how to get out of credit card debt for good.
After overcoming a struggle with personal credit card debt in his life, he decided to share his journey publicly, for which I commend him greatly, and he wrote this book.
I had the privilege of reading Master the Card and I can tell you that if you struggle with overspending, maxing out your cards, paying the monthly minimum or just convenience charging stuff you really don’t need, this is the book for you. Joe’s advice on how to get out of the addictive habit of credit card spending is practical and relevant.

What is the maternal instinct? Do all of us have it or is it just a myth? How does our own relationship with our mother influence our motherhood experience in combination of the expectations we place on ourselves? And how does our perception of a ‘good baby’ or a ‘bad baby’ play on our emotions?
“There is a real discrepancy between the romantic idealization of motherhood and the realities and when women come face to face with the contradictions, that alone can leave them vulnerable to the downward spiral of depression,” says Diana Lynne Barnes, Psy.D.
Diana Lynn Barnes Psy.D is an internationally recognized expert on the assessment and treatment of postpartum mood disorders. A frequently interviewed consultant to the media as well as a trainer and presenter on all facets of perinatal depression, Dr. Barnes is the co-author of The Journey to Parenthood: Myths, Reality and What Really Matters.”
A past president of Postpartum Support International, she currently sits on the President’s Advisory Council for that organization. She is also a member of the Los Angeles County Perinatal Mental Health Task Force, a core faculty member of their Training Institute, as well as a member of the statewide California Maternal Mental Health Task Force. In 2009, she co-founded The Motherhood Consortium, an interdisciplinary network of professionals who work with mothers, infants and young families.
Welcome Dr. Barnes, we are excited to have you join us here at the University of Moms!
